INSTRUCTIONS

  • A big skillet should be heated to medium heat. After adding the butter, sauté the onion for three to four minutes, or until it becomes transparent.

  • Add the steak and cook it for 8 to 10 minutes over medium heat in the skillet with the onions.

  • Next, add the spice to the skillet along with two cups of the beef broth. After giving it a quick stir, bring the mixture to a boil. Once the meat is cooked, lower the heat, cover, and simmer it for 20 to 30 minutes. As the broth begins to simmer off, keep a tight eye on it and slowly add the final cup of beef broth.

  • In a small bowl, stir together the cornstarch and ¼ cup cold water. After adding this combination to the skillet mixture, cook it for ten minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  • Follow the directions on the package to cook the egg noodles in a separate pot while the sauce thickens.
Enjoy the meat combination served over the egg noodles!

FAQs AND Questions

How to Make Crock Pot Beef and Noodles?

  • Cooking this dish in a crock pot is excellent. I load the crock pot with the chopped roast and everything but the noodles, and simmer. We cook for roughly six to eight hours on low.
  • I still cook the noodles on their own and then pour the beef and gravy on top. The ideal dinner to return home to. Your home will smell fantastic.

Can I Freeze Beef and Noodles?

  • This dish is ideal for freezing. We like to make double the recipe so I can have it for a quick dinner. You should simply freeze the steak and gravy mixture—the noodles shouldn’t be frozen.

  • Place the beef and gravy in a container that can be frozen. Take it out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge before heating it up. Use a microwave or stovetop to reheat food.

How to Thicken Beef and Noodles?

  • You can create a slurry with flour or cornstarch if you need to thicken the sauce for the beef and noodles. Combine one tablespoon of water with one tablespoon of flour or cornstarch.
  • Add the flour and water to the beef and noodle mixture after they’ve mixed. To thicken the sauce, increase the heat to medium-high.
